  2. The speaker's visual aid was minimal yet effective. The speaker was very easy to understand, despite some of the vocabulary used was more complex. Also, she tried to emphasize and put stress in crucial places. But I feel the presentation would improve if the speaker wasn't constantly shifting from left to right.

  3. [ SELF EVALUATION ]

In my last presentation I had made a big fault of reading off the script. So what I focused the most in preparing my second presentation is to memorize my speech. It was harder than I'd thought because I tried to memorize the exact words of the script. I notice that because of this I stammered a little while I speak, trying to remember the words. Still, I think I have done a much better job than the last presentation because although I have made a few mistakes, it was much easier to communicate with the audience as I gave the presentation. I hadn't made much eye contacts in the last one, but for this presentation I tried to make more eye contacts. However it would have been better if I had also made more eye contact with the person holding the camera. Another thing that I tried to do this time is to use my voice appropriately. I made an effort put stress in the right places, and used chunking when practicing. I also tried to vary the intonation when I talk, as well as changing the speed of my talk in some parts.
The most noticeable fault for this presentation is that I waved my body back and forth way too much. My friends did not point this out to me, and I myself had not noticed it before I got to see the video at home. Moving too much distracts the audience, so I should remember not to do so in my future works. For the same reason, I may have used hand gestures a little too much. I had intended to help the audience understand my speech, but watching this video myself I must admit that it would have been better to keep them still next to my body and use gestures now and then; use gestures less instead of constantly wavering my hands in the air.
